Suburban Dreamer respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, phone number and delivery address. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

When you visit: to stop bots and abuse, we briefly keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) form of your IP address, and our bot protection checks basic signals from your browser. Your browser also remembers your light or dark theme choice and, while you're at checkout, which checkout you opened. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Only to process, ship and support your order, and to contact you about it, for example tracking details or a change to the ship date. We don't send marketing emails, and we never sell or rent your details.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the store:

• Stripe, to take your payment securely.
• Australia Post, to deliver your parcel (name, address and phone number).
• Resend, to send your order and shipping emails.
• Vercel and Upstash, which host the website and its order systems.

Some of these providers may store data outside Australia.

How long we keep it

We keep order records, including tax invoices, for as long as Australian tax law requires (generally five years), then delete them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
